Swedbank is a modern bank with firm roots in Swedish savings bank history. Swedbank is also the largest bank in the Baltics, serving over 3 million private and business customers.

What challenge did Swedbank face?

Swedbank was faced with increasing competition by FinTech disruption.  Digitization being an important part of their strategy – they were looking for help to rebuild their mobile apps.

What was the solution?

Mooncascade helped Swedbank rebuild its mobile app through in-depth user research and implementation of its key findings. We designed and developed the architecture and features for Swedbank’s native iOS app and the UX/UI for their native Android app.

For instance, the app made contactless payments possible before Apple Pay and Android Pay were available in the Baltics.
